INTRODUCTION

Many people need inspiration and don't know what they want, what their dreams are, or what they can even wish for.

Task

Propose a design solution that will help users get inspired and generate ideas for their wishlist, allowing them to add more dreams within the Dreamezer app.

Insights

When I first learn about Dreamezer

want to understand how it differs from Excel sheets or regular notes that I’m used to using

so that I can decide whether it’s worth using for my needs.

When I have close friends I love to delight with gifts

I want to form wishlists throughout the year for each of them and add gift ideas

so that I don’t have to search for a gift at the last minute and can choose the best option from a ready-made list.

When I start a new year or celebrate a birthday

I want to add reminders for myself about my goals and desires for the year,

so that I can systematically track them throughout the year and build a habit of thinking about my dreams

Insights

People usually create their wishlists right before a celebration.

People don’t like surprises; they want to receive items they actually need.

People often save things they like in Instagram or Telegram groups.

People often don’t want to figure out how a new app works; this discourages them.

Hypotheses

People create their wishlists based on other lists (on websites, apps, and reviews) rather than from memory.

People find it difficult to add new wishes because each wish involves doubts about its usefulness, necessity, or cost.

People are reluctant to fill out wishlists throughout the year as wishes become outdated and irrelevant.

People only create wishlists for holidays.

In Dreamezer, the process of adding a new dream is too complicated (many details must be entered manually)

Use notifications to encourage habit formation, reminding users to update and review their dreams consistently.

We have added the option to register via Instagram.

Your name and date of birth are automatically added with the option to change them.

Help with ideas

We show how to use the app and immediately guide the user to add a dream.

Recommended dreams for the board have been created based on the selected preferences from the previous step.

We inform the user about the ability to add a gift with one click.
